'Truth'. This clay was kindly gifted by Jessica Leech who was moved when seeing the installation at Manchester City Art Gallery and wanted to get involved, this was by getting me clay from her ancestral homeland South Korea, she got the clay when she went back to visit her brother.

The clay was harvested in the area where the traditional potteries were produced during the 500 years of Yi Dynasty, they often favoured white pottery. The tradition carries on to modern Korea and there are a lot of potteries are still made in this area, which has the best white grade clay can be harvested.

There are many different grade of clays and you can choose the grade you want to suit your purpose as well.

The temperature range for the clay is between 1000 - 1200C in general.
